Mary Jo Salone, Attorney at Law
Mary Jo Salone is originally from Wisconsin. She attended law school at Golden Gate University
and then went on to teach there. She entered the private sector to focus on software copyrighting.
She wrote a self-help book entitled How to Copyright Software. Since coming to Arizona over 20
years ago, Ms. Salone has practiced in many different areas as a sole practitioner.
As her parents aged, she was forced into court with her parents and siblings. She had the
opportunity to be solely responsible for the care of her mother, who had Alzheimer’s. Having these
experiences piqued her interest in estate planning. She finds great satisfaction in providing for the
legal needs of both businesses and families as she strives to make life transitions--such as she went
through with her parents--easier for others. Ms. Salone is very excited about the opening of her
practice and its estate planning emphasis. Ms. Salone lives in Goodyear near her daughter, son-in-law and six grandsons.
